Night Time Strolls of The Gyeongbokgung Palace with Yasemin

We visit Gyeongbokgung Palace at night wearing Korean traditional dress 'hanbok'.

With Wonseo Choi

Hi guys

This is Wonseo your tourmate 🙂
I went to Gyeongbokgung Palace with my awesome friend Yasemin at night time.

Gyeongbokgung Palace

Gyeongbokgung looks so beautiful with lights. I definitely recommend visiting at night time 🙂

She is my friend Yasemin from Holland. She’s a Turk-Dutchwoman.

Now she’s here to work for SNU hospital for internship. She’s very nice and kind, easygoing 🙂

There’s an amazing light show with great music and Korean tradition dancing.

We watched it twice since it was so great!

Gyeongbokgung Palace is located in very heart of Seoul, in finance district

so you can see many buildings around the palace and it is in harmony with modern culture.

It was her very first time to try Korean traditional outfits ‘hanbok’ and gladly she loved it.

And you know as people wear hanbok, it’s all free for admission!

So you can see many people wore hanbok in the palace.

Gwangwhamun gate

That statue is called ‘Hatchi’ imaginary animal of Korea. It exorcises evil spirits and is a symbol of integrity.

It is also a symbol icon of Seoul city.

After we looked around the place and Gwanghwamun Plaza,

we walked along the Cheonggyecheon stream and talked about a lot of stuff of our lives in Seoul and Holland, culture and personal stuff as well.

I can say we had great time together. We will keep in touch through Facebook and Instagram 😀
