With Eunbin Chung
We met at Hyehwa Station at the first time. It was Saturday. So there was a street performance with music. Rei and Kei were enjoying the small music concert 🙂
And then we moved to Changgeunggung Palace.
I explained them the function and meaning of each building. They were impressed that the Palace is quite big. They really liked the traditional and calm atmosphere of the palace. I think it is because they are from the States, they have never seen this kind of traditional things in their hometown. Also, they told me that they have traveled Japan before coming to South Korea, but the palace in Korea is much better 🙂 I was so proud of our palace!
After we finished our palace tour, we ate dinner together.
I had some difficulties to choose the menu. I wanted to show them delicious and real local food in Korea but had to exclude spicy food and seafood ( considered their preferences ). So we finally decided to go to Bulgogi (beef) restaurant. They really liked it.
We walked around the street near Hyehwa station. And had a shopping.
Actually, Kei was really a big fan of K-pop. Karaoke was not included in my original tour.
But I wanted to give them special experiences in Korea. So we went to Karaoke instantly.
It was super cheap ( 2 songs for 500 won). We sang 6 songs in total!
We finished our tour finally.
It was really a precious experience not only them but also for me.
We still keep in touch in Kakao talk.
They told me that they already miss Korea and promised that they will visit Korea someday again 🙂
I am so glad that I give them a nice memory and hope they keep it for a long time.
