Hello, I am Korean college student who wants to give a great time to people. I love walking around and trip many hot places, so I went to lots of places in Seoul during this vacation. I really want to introduce those spots. I’m very talkative and energetic. I want to have a great time with many people making special memories.

4 hrs

Culture / Traditional

First, Jongmyo Shrine

This tour gives you all the things like knowledge about Korean cultures, sight-seeing, picture spots, and delicious foods!! Don’t miss this chance!

The first place is Jongmyo Shrine.
Jongmyo Shrine was a primary place throughout Joseon Dynasty. There are the tombs of Joseon Dynasty kings. Now the Jongmyo Shine is designated as world heritage. Thus, you can enter there at a fixed time (under 300 people only) and you can listen to the histories about Joseon Dynasty from a guide in English (also Chinese and Japanese).

Second, Ikseon-dong

The second place is Ikseon-dong.
Whether you went to Buckchon Hanok village and Gyeongbokhung palace or not, you would feel a new sense on Hanok. Ikseon-dong is also beautiful but not famous Hanok village. I really feel sad as the video and pictures could not express the whole beauty of the village. Ikseon-dong is a small but comfortable place of Seoul. This is rebuilt recently so still many stores are being built. And there are lots of amazing cafes!! You can see comic books or videos drinking coffee in the café which is Hanok. You can choose the cafes to go.

There are also many shops to get wonderful goods. I visited 3 specific stores.
1. Flower café. You can get a various bunch of flowers. I would keep my eyes on them. It was a good photo spot.
2. Hanbok shop. You can see much beautiful clothing. There were also many hanboks which are also good to wear normally. I could not take pictures of them (due to the copyrights), you can appreciate them on your eyes.
3. Accessory shop. There are several goods like snacks, accessories, and souvenirs. You can earn memorial things there!

The lunch menu that I chose is the most famous restaurant in Ikseon-dong. The “경양식 1920” sells pork cutlet and hamburger steak which is very delicious. You should not miss to taste them!! I hope you visit the places before going back to your home. XD
