Hi 🙂 Welcome to Yeji’s profile! I really really love traveling. So when I traveled other countries, I got a lot of help from friends who live there. Thanks to friends, my travel was more enjoyable and full of good memories. Now I want to make you happy memory in Korea!
History / Food
First, Gwangjang Market
This course will take you to two representative places in Jongro-gu, Seoul.
Jongro-gu has been the center of the Seoul for many years, so also has been an important historical and cultural center.
First of all, we will visit Gwangjang market.
This place is famous for Korean food, such as Tteokbokki, Gimbap, Mung-bean pancakes, Sundae, Korean-style raw beef, etc.
You can choose one of these foods, and have lunch time in here!
I recommend Kimbap and Korean-style raw beef personally!
And after lunch, we are going to do the shopping.
We will look on Korean traditional costume Hanbok, groceries, snacks, souvenirs.
And even there is a vintage clothing shop on the upstairs of the market, so you can get pretty good quality clothes at the cheap price.
Second, Changgyeonggung palace
After taking a look at the Gwangjang market, we will go to the Changgyeonggung Palace.
Unlike other palaces, Changgyeonggung Palace is quiet.
But in palace stillness and nature are beautifully harmonized.
We will stroll this beautiful palace and take pictures.
And then at 4 pm, the guide who wears the hanbok will explain about this palace in English, so if you want a detailed explanation, please let me know in advance!:)
Finally, we will walk slowly and go to a tradition teahouse near Hyehwa station.
After drinking tea and eating refreshments, our tour will end in Hyehwa-dong.
I really hope to meet you soon! 🙂
